Gregory Studio initially designed the first website for his church St Lukes in Greytown which he worked closely with Rev Harry Newton. Instead of the traditional navigation the website used a press and pop up technique, so the user can quickly navigate the website simply by clicking on one of the grids and reading the information.
The website was launched to great success and in a very short amount of time the website template we developed for St Lukes was taken up by three other New Zealand Anglican churches including St Matthews Masterton, St Alban's in Eastbourne, Wellington and the South Wairarapa Anglican Parish.
For every different church we have developed it for we have evolved and changed the design to suit that particular church, for example, St Matthew's in Masterton wanted a hall bookings section, and St Lukes wanted a blog section as well as wanted to post videos. Once designed and built the website can also be easily added to include extra features.
Some of the things that the website can do include:
As this website is templated it proves to be an affordable way that Anglican churches throughout New Zealand can get online, plus Gregory Studio will also give the church it's first year hosting and domain registration for free.

I'm excited to share that I've been designing welcome packs for various Anglican churches! Starting with St. Luke's Anglican in Greytown, these packs feature pull-out cards introducing newcomers to church activities, tithing information, youth groups, and more. I've also created similar packs for Sumner Redcliffs Anglican Church and Riccarton-Spreydon Anglican Parish in Christchurch.
These welcome packs highlight the many ways new members can get involved, emphasizing that church is more than just a place to visit for an hour on Sunday; it invites active participation. The latest designs even include QR codes, allowing churches to keep the information up-to-date.
