I've been incorporating video in place of static images for website hero sections, and it adds much more depth and visual appeal. While video production can be costly—often running into the thousands for just a 2-3 minute clip—there are free copyright-free stock videos available, similar to stock photos.

Recently, for Amoa Seafoods’ new website, I used a stock video and enhanced it by layering a water droplet PNG and an image of a paua shell, along with a brief intro text. The result was a unique and dynamic design that the client loved.
